As General Manager of HAVAS Sports & Entertainment across Australia & New Zealand, our business division is responsible for partnering Brands with the emotional world of Sport & Entertainment, via insight, strategy & creative execution, then delivered through powerful marketing, communication & live activation campaigns, and measured with data-driven proprietary tools.
HAVAS Sports & Entertainment is supported by the local and international media, creative, digital, PR and live event and activations teams of the broader HAVAS group, which totals more than 20,000 employees.
Niamh joined the Havas family in 2014 and her 13 years’ experience spans media, content, influencer engagement, data & analytics as well as managing & executing major sponsorships & partnerships across a broad range of clients.
Niamh has extensive experience leading the strategic & creative development of entertainment partnerships across broadcast & film for Canon, Moet & Chandon, Emirates & Superdrug. She has more recently, taken the reigns of our content output across the agency, most notably working with Amazon Web Services, NSW Government & OFX.
As an expat from the UK, Niamh is a die hard football fan and in her spare time enjoys travelling, reading and live music.
Patrick Millington Buck has spent his career creating award winning brand experiences around the world, specialising in sports sponsorship & events.
He began his career in the UK, where he brought to life various large scale sponsorships including MasterCard Rugby and British Fencing at the 2012 Olympics, before chasing the sun and moving to Australia, leading campaigns for the likes of Commonwealth Bank, IAG and Steggles.
At Havas Sports & Entrainment Australia, Patrick works across the agency’s biggest clients including Gillette and their multi-million dollar partnership with Cricket Australia. As well as Red Bull and their global Flugtag Series on Sydney Harbour.
In his spare time, Patrick co-founded and helps run “Sydney Soiree”, the largest group dating & dining company in Australia. Otherwise you’ll find him on the football pitch or hanging out down at his beloved Bondi Beach (classic Sydney Brit!).
Madeline has 3 years experience in the industry and has worked across many national and global brands such as NRMA Insurance, Gillette, Amazon, & the Body Shop. From research & ideation all the way through to on-site production and delivery of live activations.
Originally from New Zealand, Madeline has a passion for entertainment, travel and whatever the next big trend is.
Sam Norris has over 4 years experience as an event manger and producer specialising in bringing brands to life through sports sponsorship.
Sam has worked across many national and global brands such as KFC, Mentos, Suncorp, Transport NSW and BKT Tyres. From the conception of ideas through to on-site delivery of live activations.
Moving over the ditch from New Zealand to play Rugby, Sam is a ‘sport mad kiwi’ with a passion for fitness and the outdoors.
Nick’s stellar career trajectory only really makes sense when viewed macroscopically. He has been the chirpy narrator at a KFC drive-thru station, a chainsaw operator, a barkeep, a maître d', a streetwear salesguy, a Canberran garbo (with all the roundabouts in our capital, perpetual dizziness was an occupational hazard), a blues festival artist liaison, a demolition labourer, a heavy rock guitarist, a music journo, a father, a fashion importer, an editor, a movie art department flunky, a copywriter, a head of content (whatever that is), a short film director, a scriptwriter, and the author of a series of “post-apocalyptic grimdark steampunk samurai” novels… And that’s not even in chronological order! Suffice to say, each of these unique vocations (especially the chainsaw bit) has been brought to the fore as creative director for HSE.
